MASWM conference Targets Key Workshop Issues

The MASWM Spring Conference April 26-28 was a major success, with over 80 workshop representatives attending two days of information-rich presentations.

Even with a packed agenda focused on workshops, the greatest benefit of the event may have been numerous opportunities for networking by workshop staff members who shared their ideas for solving problems and more.

On October 4th, 2019 we hosted a “Thank You” breakfast for the many companies whose business ensures meaningful, productive and full-time employment for over 400 adults with developmental disabilities.

SSD 2019 Special Ambassador Award Winner

The Special Ambassador Award is the highest recognition given by SSD. The award is presented to organizations and community members who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the District’s students and staff. Stacey Elster, Director of Programs at Lafayette Industries, was honored as a 2019 Special Ambassador.
